A green jetpack, all reaching, slings me into space. I left my martian boots below and that plutonian mask. They weighed me down for so long once, but I let it drift down that river, Stix. It’s where the past belongs.
Jupiter, I see it, the grandest of them all. Thunder-eyed, the storm gazed my soul. King of Kings and strength of strong, I felt a lightning roar that touched my bones!
But still beyond reach, my destination takes me towards that celestial heat, to the warmth of life that makes all hearts beat. A sun looming, solar flares bright, it eviscerated all my plights as I was rekindled in its holy light.
Past the sun and orbited around, my orbital crown resounds with new sight. Blinded to bring back my sight, like Paul, i put my hand down to write. Apostolic truths revealed, and Venus sang a murmured song.
Still it rings gently in my ears, and Earth ever closer in the vastness of ethereal dark. I can almost taste the air, almost palpably feel me there.
