Step aside fears that hold you back.
Move away pasts that cling like frost.
In the dewy grass of days now past,
Sunlight reveals that all’s not lost.
As fires scourge those northern hills,
Mansions burn and castles churn.
With what once were those coffers filled,
Lost to the blaze of fate adjourned.
Beneath fields of ash, where debris smolts;
Where rain falls now into rubbled earth,
Mud amasses over memories embalmed.
And weeds will rise as will too worms.
New life begets forth from all of death.
Those things that turn and reinvent….
